24-hour emergency medical assistance puts residents and their families at ease.
Each resident's home is equipped with a monitoring system to ensure residents
well being, including an emergency call button and daily check-in system. If
the need arises, help is just around the corner and a pull cord away.
Dr. Rohit
Dandiya, former Chief of Staff at the prestigious neighboring Palm
Beach Gardens Medical Center, is the Medical Director for Devonshire.
His efforts are supported by Devonshire's "Wellness
Center", which has a nurse on duty 24 hours a day. They maintain the resident's
health profiles recorded on the profile sheet stored in the resident's freezer
in a "vial of life"that is easily recognized and understood by emergency
personnel. The Center also has examining rooms in which to consult with visiting
physicians, in addition to offering preventative care as well as a registered
dietician's services.
If assistance is required at home, arrangements may
be made by the resident with a home health care agency to provide the needed
assistance. Prescriptions are delivered to Devonshire daily.
